In short:

- A baby tracker for feeds, meals, sleep, diapers, pumping and growth, logged in a tap.
- Everyone caring for the baby sees the same log within seconds, and it works offline.
- Early access is free, with no ads; the one paid feature will be Ask Livia.

Livia is a baby tracker for the newborn-to-toddler years. You log a feed in
one tap, see when the next nap is likely, and everyone caring for your baby
sees the same day, in real time. Early access is open now, free,
before the App Store launch. [Get early access](/#download).

## What can you track?

- **Feeds:** a breastfeeding timer with left and right sides and the next side
suggested, and bottles of breast milk, formula or cow's milk, prefilled with
  your usual amount.
- **Meals:** breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack, with your baby's usual foods
  one tap away.
- **Sleep:** tap to log a nap, hold to start a timer, one tap when they wake.
A running sleep or breastfeed shows on the lock screen (a Live Activity
on iPhone, a notification on Android), with buttons to switch sides or
finish; choose which in More → Lock screen & widgets.
- **Diapers:** wet, dirty, both or dry, in one tap.
- **Pumping:** how much from each side.
- **Growth:** weight, length and head size, on the WHO growth charts.
- **Records, if you want them:** milestones, vaccines and medicine.

Don't need some of them? Switch them off, and those buttons disappear.
Coming from Nara Baby or Huckleberry? More → Import your history brings
your log with you.

## What does "thinks ahead" mean?

Livia learns your baby's rhythm from what you log. On the home screen you see
how long it's been since the last feed and an estimate of the next nap and
bedtime. Until it knows your baby, it uses typical awake times for their
age. It also catches the slips you make half asleep: an amount with an
extra zero, a feed you and your partner both logged, a timer left running.
How the estimate works is in [How does Livia know when the next nap is
likely?](/blog/how-livia-knows-when-the-next-nap-is-likely), and the checks
in [Why does Livia ask "Did you mean 120 ml?"](/blog/why-livia-asks-did-you-mean-120-ml).

Next, because Livia knows how much your baby actually eats, it will be able
to tell you how many days of formula and diapers you have left, before you
run out.

## Can two parents use it together?

Yes. Invite a partner, grandparent or nanny by email. Each of them has their
own sign-in and can log, entries show up on every phone within seconds, and
everyone sees who logged what ([how sharing
works](/blog/how-two-parents-share-one-baby-tracker)). Many trackers charge
for this; in Livia it's included. See [how Livia compares to Huckleberry,
Nara Baby and others](/blog/best-baby-tracker-apps-compared), or the short
list of [7 things Livia does that most baby trackers
don't](/blog/7-things-livia-does-that-other-baby-trackers-dont).

## Does it work without a connection?

Yes. Everything you log is saved on your phone first, so a feed is recorded
even with no signal. It syncs when you're back online.

## What is early access?

Livia is open to a first group of families before its App Store and
Google Play launch. You get the full app, with nothing held back, and a direct line to
the person building it: reply to any of our emails and it shapes what ships
next. When Livia reaches the App Store, your account and your log carry over.

## Is it free?

Yes. Early access is free, with no ads and no card to enter, and it stays
that way: everything other trackers charge for, the next-nap estimate,
partner sync, growth charts and full history, is free in Livia. The one
thing Livia will charge for is Ask Livia, the assistant that's coming. We
don't sell data; see
[Is Livia private?](/blog/is-livia-private) and our [privacy policy](/privacy).
